Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas meets Minister of Labour

Ramallah- President of the Palestinian Authority, Mahmoud Abbas, received Saturday evening, at the presidential headquarters in Ramallah, Minister of Labour and Rehabilitation of the Government of National Unity, Ali Abed Al-Ridha.

The Palestinian News Agency “Wafa” stated that the President welcomed Al-Abed from the outset of the meeting, stressing the depth of fraternal relations that bind the two brotherly peoples, and the keenness of the State of Palestine to develop brotherly relations and partnership between the two countries, praising Libya’s firm stances towards the Palestinian cause, and the bilateral agreements signed between them.

He also pointed out the importance of such visits in supporting the steadfastness of the Palestinian people and strengthening their relations with their Arab brothers.

The agency indicated that the meeting was attended by a member of the Executive Committee of the PLO, Ziyad Abu Amr, the Minister of Labour, Nasri Abu Jaish, the head of the General Personnel Council, Minister Musa Abu Zaid, the legal adviser to the president, and the acting ambassador of the State of Palestine to Libya.
