Tawergha-Tawergha local council organized an iftar yesterday on the occasion of the anisurata Tawergha Peace Pact, in the presence of a delegation from the people and notables of the city of Misurata.
The iftar was attended by the head of the local council, the head and members of the Council of Elders and the Shura in Tawergha, Locality chiefs, and a crowd of the city’s residents.
Emphasizing the steady steps towards rebuilding and supporting stability in the city of Tawergha, the local council continues to implement a number of development projects, including the maintenance of the ring road and the maintenance of the power station, the maintenance of Al-Ain road and the market road within the authority’s plan that aims to open paths, and pave several main and secondary roads and paths in the city.
