Tripoli– Minister of Labour and Rehabilitation in the Government of National Unity, “Ali Al-Abed Al-Rida”, met Sunday, with the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Public Health Insurance Fund, “Talal Ajaj”, followed up on the progress of work in the Public Health Insurance Fund. During the meeting, the minister was briefed on the latest developments regarding the registration and inventory of the target groups for health insurance in all sectors, where the head of the fund confirmed that work is continuing to activate health insurance services for the first target groups, namely the retired segment, and the electronic subscriptions portal was launched, and registration points were opened in cooperation with a company Libya Post to help groups that were unable to register electronically.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Minister of Labour commended the efforts made by the fund management to activate health insurance services for eligible groups, calling for more efforts to complete insurance procedures for the first group targeted with health insurance services.
