Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, received a phone call from UK Foreign Secretary James Cleverly on Sunday.
During the conversation, the two ministers discussed the rapidly developing events in the Republic of Sudan and the situation of foreign nationals stranded there.
Both ministers emphasized the importance of halting the military escalation, ensuring the necessary protection for Sudanese civilians and residents, and establishing secure humanitarian corridors for those who wish to leave the Sudanese territory.
Additionally, they reviewed the strong relations between the two countries and explored ways to enhance and develop them in various fields. The two sides also discussed intensifying joint coordination on matters of mutual interest.
