Le Drian: France and Algeria want to coordinate initiatives on Libya.

Paris, Paris intends to strengthen cooperation with Algeria on the Libyan issue, after the first visit following strained diplomatic relations between the two countries, French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian said.

The Head of the French diplomacy renewed his denoting Algeria as “France’s main partner at the regional level,” and quoted a statement by The French Foreign Ministry as saying that the two countries wanted to “continue to coordinate our diplomatic initiatives in order to promote the political transition in Libya, following the Paris conference in which Minister Ramtan Lamara, took part as representative of Algerian President Abdel Majid Tebboune.
