Islamic Affairs Ministry Serves Over 85,000 Residents with Iftar Meals in Madinah

Madinah: The Madinah branch of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance stepped up its efforts during Ramadan to serve visitors to the city and the Prophet’s Mosque.

The ministry ensured mosques and prayer halls were well-maintained and equipped with necessary supplies, including cleaning equipment, air conditioning, furniture, and copies of the Quran.

In collaboration with local community groups, the branch also hosted 23 daily iftar banquets throughout Ramadan, serving over 85,000 residents from various nationalities. These banquets will continue until the end of the holy month.

Additionally, the ministry organized over 400 awareness campaigns, including lectures, seminars, and religious lessons, held at various mosques across the region. These activities aimed to deepen understanding and communication among Muslims during Ramadan.
