Tobruk, The House of Representatives suspended its sessions, which began this morning at its headquarters in Tobruk, until tomorrow.
the Libyan News Agency (Lana) learned that Chapter 1 of the budget related to salaries will be approved without any obstacles. As for the rest of the budget lines, consideration of them may be postponed until next week pending agreement on sovereign positions.
Informed sources within the council just said that there is a possibility of agreement in the current ongoing consultations between the council’s circles and the finance and planning ministers in Tobruk on a solution that could be adopted in the next week’s sessions if the differences do not subside tomorrow.
