His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received Steven C. Bondy, Ambassador of the United States to Bahrain, accompanied by David Brownstein, Deputy Chief of Mission, at the Al-Sakhir Palace today.
HM the King reviewed with the envoy the long-standing Bahrain-US relations in various sectors.
HM the King expressed his appreciation to the ambassador for contributing to the arrangements for the official visit made recently by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to the US, during which the Comprehensive Security Integration and Prosperity Agreement between the two countries was signed.
The Comprehensive Security Integration and Prosperity Agreement will enhance Bahrain-U.S. cooperation across a range of areas, from defence and security to emerging technology, trade, and investment.
HM King Hamad praised the historical and developed relations between the two countries in various sectors.
HM King commended the US administration’s efforts and pivotal role in establishing and maintaining regional and global security, stability and peace.
