GCC Ministerial Council to Hold its 156th Session in Riyadh Sunday

The 156th ministerial meeting of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) foreign ministers is to take place on Sunday at the GCC Secretariat General headquarters in Riyadh.

The 156th Session of the GCC Ministerial Council will be chaired by Oman’s Foreign Minister, Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi, who currently holds the position of Chairman of the Ministerial Council and GCC Secretary General, Jassem Mohamed Albudaiwi, will also be in attendance.

Albudaiwi stated that the meeting on Sunday will focus on reviewing the progress made in implementing the resolutions of the GCC Supreme Council, approved during the council’s 43rd Summit held in Riyadh. Additionally, reports and memoranda submitted by the Secretariat General, ministerial committees, and technical committees will also be addressed.

The Secretary-General added that the session will provide a platform for discussing the latest regional and international developments.
