Berlin, Former UN Envoy to Libya Stephanie Williams said Berlin 2 was an international umbrella which contribute to unity of Libyans.
In press statements Williams said all countries and regional organisations came together to reassure commitment of the international community to what has been achieved in Berlin 1, describing the matter as ‘extremely positive.’
She stressed importance of the backing by Libyans who wish to leave the past behind and go to elections, and highlighting the individual messages by participants on continuing support and holding of elections on set time and withdrawing of mercenaries and foreign fighters from the country.
