Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs, received a phone call today from the Special Envoy of the UN Secretary-General for Syria, Geir Pedersen.
During the call, the two sides discussed ways to find a political solution to the Syrian crisis and the efforts being exerted by the UN envoy to Syria in this regard.
The Minister affirmed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s keenness to exert all efforts to reach a political solution to the Syrian crisis that preserves Syria’s unity, security, stability, and Arab affiliation and to achieve development for the Syrian people.
