For the first time: Al-Haddad and Al-Nadori meet in Sirte, and the second describes the meeting as cordial, and a convergence of views on the unification of the military institution.

Tripoli, The Libyan News Agency correspondent reported that a meeting was held today, Saturday, in the city of Sirte, and included Lieutenant-General “Mohamed Al-Haddad”, Chief of General Staff of the Libyan Army, and Lieutenant-General “Abdul Razzaq Al-Nadori” as the Commander-in-Chief of the Libyan Army in charge.

According to the reporter, no details are yet known about the content of this meeting between “Al-Nadori” and “Al-Haddad”, especially since it is the first meeting that brings together the two military figures.

Lieutenant-General Al-Nadori described the meeting as very cordial, and a convergence of views regarding the unification of the military institution, which will be very soon and without foreign interference, according to him.

He said in press statements after the meeting that we, as a military institution, do not object to building a civil state and the speed of its implementation, and respect all civil institutions, and that they are not concerned with political quarrels, and they want to protect the homeland, its borders and the constitution.

Al-Nadori explained that these meetings will continue in the coming days, and we are waiting for the Joint Military Committee (5+5) to join these meetings, which will be consecutive and without external interference.

The two teams, “Al-Haddad” and “Al-Nadouri”, had arrived, accompanied by a number of officers, this morning, Saturday, to the city of Sirte, the first by land, and the second by air.
