During the reception of the Vice-President of the Presidential Council (Abdullah Al-Lafi), the Ambassador of the Republic of Bangladesh stresses the depth of the joint relations between the two friendly countries and peoples.

Tripoli, The Vice President of the Presidential Council, Abdullah Al-Lafi, received today, Monday, the Ambassador of the Republic of Bangladesh to Libya, a member of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Shamim Al-Zaman, who conveyed the greetings of the President of the Republic of Bangladesh to the Presidential Council.

During the meeting, which was held at the council’s office in Tripoli, it was emphasized the activation of cooperation agreements between the two countries in many fields, especially with regard to the workforce, and medical and auxiliary medical elements to support the health sector, as well as in the areas of trade and economic cooperation.

The Bangladeshi ambassador stressed the depth of the joint relations that bind the two friendly peoples, expressing his readiness to work on developing them in all fields, and his country’s ability to provide Libya with a sufficient number of trained skilled workers, which it needs in the reconstruction and development stage.

Al-Lafi asked the ambassador to convey the greetings of the Presidential Council to the leadership and people of Bangladesh, stressing that the Libyan-Bangladesh relations are cordial and respectful, and work is continuing to consolidate them, in the interest of the two friendly countries during the next stage, in which Libya will witness a movement of reconstruction and development.
