Tripoli – The President of the Supreme Council of State, Khalid Al-Mashri, met Thursday with the Italian ambassador to Libya, Giuseppe Buccino, at the council’s headquarters in the capital, Tripoli.
According to the media office of the Supreme Council of State, the meeting dealt with the latest political developments in the country and ways to make the elections successful.
During the meeting, Al-Mashri stressed the need to reach a constitutional basis and agreed electoral laws that would lead to fair elections that meet the aspirations of Libyans and achieve stability.
