During his meeting with al-Dabaiba in Abu Dhabi.. the Emirati president stresses the need to support international efforts to hold elections in Libya

Abu Dhabi- The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, “Abdul Hamid Al-Dabaiba,” arrived this evening, Wednesday, in Abu Dhabi, on a visit to the UAE, where he was received by the Emirati President, Sheikh “Mohammed bin Zayed,” at Al-Shati Palace in Abu Dhabi.

During the meeting, bin Zayed stressed the need to support international efforts to hold elections in Libya, and to increase prospects for cooperation in the fields of renewable energy, gas and investment between the two countries, according to the media office of the head of the national unity government.

The media office added on its Facebook page that “Al-Dabaiba” explained the government’s efforts to support the electoral process, stressing the need to conduct it according to a fair constitutional rule and fair electoral laws.

Al-Dabaiba also stressed the need to open horizons of economic cooperation with the UAE, in various economic and investment fields, according to the media office.

The media office stated that the two parties agreed during the meeting to operate flights between the two countries, to open visas for citizens and to restore the work of the UAE embassy from Tripoli.
