Tripoli, Patrols of the Libyan Coast Guard have rescued 71 illegal migrants of various African nationalities who were on a dinghy on way to the European shores.
A spokesman for the Marine Forces Staff Command said soon after receiving a SOS, a patrol boat ‘Ras Jdeir’ to the location of the migrants who were taken to the Tripoli Sea Base where they were offered medical and humanitarian assistance.
