Chief Of The General Staff Of The Libyan Army: The Army Will Not Serve The Ambitions And Struggles Of Politicians And Will Protect The Constitution, And The Head Of State Is Considered The Supreme Commander.

Tripoli, The Chief of the General Staff of the Libyan Army, Lieutenant-General, “Mohamed Al-Haddad”, affirmed the army’s commitment to its sound military doctrine and the laws that obligate it not to interfere in political life, and that it will not serve the ambitions and struggles of politicians and will protect the constitution, and considers the head of state to be the supreme leader.

Al-Haddad said in a speech he delivered today at the celebration held in Tripoli on the 81st anniversary of the founding of the Libyan army in 1940.

He added, “The Libyan army was on the day of Bushra’s founding of independence, and today it will be the nucleus for ending the nation’s crisis and building it.”

Al-Haddad pointed out that the conflicts that we see today, whether local, regional or international, which have caused destruction to the country, actually want to bring in the army and drag it to take sides in order to achieve authoritarian projects, which is rejected by the values and doctrine of the military establishment.
