Tripoli, The US Chargé d’Affairs to Libya “Leslie Ordman” met with the President of the Municipal Council and Mayor of Sebha Municipality, Al-Shawsh Gharbal, at the municipality headquarters.
The US Embassy in Libya stated via “Twitter” that the diplomat “Ordman” discussed with Brigadier General Gharbal at the Sebha municipality headquarters the developments and challenges facing Sebha and other municipalities in southern Libya, and during this meeting, the ongoing preparations in the region for elections were reviewed the presidential and parliamentary elections scheduled to take place on December 24.
“Chargé d’Affairs Ordman affirmed the United States’ commitment to efforts to ensure that voting was conducted in a free, fair and transparent manner’ it added.
