Celebration in Tripoli of the launch of the United Nations framework for cooperation in the field of tripartite development 2023-2025

Tripoli, December 13, 2022 (LANA) – Today, Tuesday, the launch of the implementation of the United Nations framework for cooperation in the field of tripartite development 2023-2025 was celebrated in Tripoli, in the presence of the head of the national unity government, Abdul Hamid al-Dabaiba, the Special Envoy of the United Nations Secretary-General to Libya, Abdullah Batili, and a number of Ministers and ambassadors of some countries accredited to Libya.

In his speech at the ceremony, Al-Dabaiba affirmed his support for any international and local cooperation within a clear framework and clear objectives, stressing the need to define priorities and needs by the various Libyan institutions, and organize the file of partnership and support according to specific timetables, as quoted by the media office of the Prime Minister of National Unity.

In conclusion, Al-Dabaiba expressed his happiness at meeting the United Nations in the field of development and partnership, and that the meetings were not limited to preventing wars and political discussions.

For his part, the Designated Minister of Planning, Muhammad Al-Zaidani, stressed in a speech on the occasion, the importance of the event that organizes cooperation between agencies working with the United Nations and its organizations and the government according to a tripartite plan.

In turn, Batili expressed his happiness with the organized cooperation that is taking place between the United Nations and the national unity government within the sustainable development goals, according to the media office.

The Assistant Secretary-General and Resident Coordinator of the United Nations, Georgette Gaynon, gave a detailed presentation on the draft plan and reviewed its most important priorities.
