KSrelief Distributes 30 Tons of Food Aid in Sudan

King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has distributed 30 tons of food baskets in Karari locality, Khartoum, Sudan.

The aid, distributed on Wednesday, was delivered to 3,239 people of displaced Sudanese as part of the project to back food security in Sudan for 2023.

The aid is part of the humanitarian and relief efforts that the Kingdom presents through its humanitarian arm, the KSrelief, to support the brotherly people of Sudan and alleviate their suffering due to the current humanitarian crisis.

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Receives Written Message from King of Eswatini

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has received a written message from King Mswati III of the Kingdom of Eswatini, pertaining to the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and peoples and ways to enhance joint coordination on issues of mutual concern.

Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Eng. Waleed bin Abdulkarim Al-Khereiji received the message today during a meeting in Riyadh with Eswatini’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Thuli Dladla.

The meeting went over bilateral relations and the latest regional and international developments.

Organizing committee defines women’s arenas for commemoration of Imam Zaid in capital’s secretariat and provinces

The Organizing Committee for Events has identified women’s arenas to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Zaid bin Ali, peace be upon them both, in the capital’s secretariat and the provinces, tomorrow, Saturday.

The Women’s Committee called on the women of Yemen, to the great and honorable exit in commemoration of the martyrdom of Imam Zaid, peace be upon him, at three o’clock on Saturday afternoon.

Britain renews its support for (Batili) and there is no alternative to Libya in the elections.

Britain has renewed its support for the efforts made by the United Nations Envoy for Support in Libya, “Abdullah Batili”, aimed at involving all Libyan institutions and parties to reach a comprehensive political agreement on the path of free and independent elections.

This came in the words of the regional spokeswoman for the British government for the Middle East and North Africa, “Rosie Diaz”, where she said in televised statements: (Libya’s leaders must focus their efforts on the requirements of the Libyan people to hold national presidential and parliamentary elections as soon as possible, … and that Britain Realizes the efforts of the committee formed by the House of Representatives and the 6 + 6 parliament to reach an agreement on draft electoral laws, as there is no alternative path to elections, and this step is very important and the Libyan people have been waiting for it for years).

The British spokeswoman described the formation of a new interim government with an open mandate, as (it threatens to perpetuate the transitional periods without pushing the country towards elections), as she put it.

On the other hand, the British Ambassador to Libya, Caroline Horland, said during her visit to the city of Ghadames recently that (Britain strongly supports the preservation and protection of the historical monuments in the ancient city).

QSL/ Al-Rayyan Introduces New Coach Portuguese Leonardo Jardim

Al-Rayyan SC introduced on Friday the Portuguese Leonardo Jardim who will assume responsibility for the technical management of the first football team until the summer of 2025.

During a press conference held in the conference hall at Ahmed Bin Ali Stadium to talk about his team’s goals in the new football season, Jardim said as a group in Al-Rayyan SC the goal is to return to its normal place pointing out that a clear plan has been developed in order to follow it during the next stage, and build a competitive team that can bet on all available titles.

Jardim pointed out that 9 new players were contracted after consultations between the club’s management and the technical staff, stressing the need for Al-Rayyan to remain within the circle of competition for all titles in the next season, and to appear at the level that satisfies the aspirations of its fans.

The 49-year-old former French coach of Monaco stated that his team will seek to appear strongly in the next season, which will start on August 16.

RAP attends the launch of the 2023 summer camp

Commander of the Royal Academy of Police (RAP), Brigadier Fawaz Al Hassan, today attended the launch of the 2023 summer camp.

The camp is one of the initiatives of the National Plan to Promote the Spirit of Belonging to the Nation and Reinforce the Values of Nationalism. It will continue until August 10 in cooperation with the Labour Fund (Tamkeen).

The Commander asserted that the camp comes as part of the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa to hold summer activities to promote national values among youth. He highlighted the dedication of Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa for the success of the summer camp.

The camp aims to enhance citizenship, loyalty values of loyalty and tolerance. It also aims to occupy youth’s free time in valuable activities to protect them from crimes.

The summer camp was launched with a performance by the Police Band and a lecture on Bahrain’s traditions. It will continue with a series of lectures and workshops to enhance the participants’ skills.
