Sunni Endowments Council Chairman Dr. Shaikh Rashid bin Mohammed Al Hajeri met Saudi Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al Sheikh and discussed key Islamic issues.
The meeting was held on the sidelines of the Islamic conference titled “Communication with the Departments of Religious Affairs, Ifta and Sheikhdoms in the World”, being held in the City of Makkah.
Dr. Al-Hajeri stressed the importance of the conference themed “Communication and Integration”, being held under the auspices of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.
The conference underscored the importance of reinforcing communication and integration between the Departments of Religious Affairs, Ifta and Sheikhdoms in the World to promote the values of moderation and tolerance and coexistence between people, strengthen pan-Islamic unity, combat extremist ideologies and protect societies from atheism and depravity.
