Berlin- The Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Libya, “Abdullah Batili,” held today, Wednesday, in Berlin, consultations with German Foreign Minister “Annalina Berbock” on the political and security situation in Libya.
Batili said in a tweet that he posted on his Twitter account that the meeting dealt with the request of Libyan institutions to focus on preparing for the presidential and parliamentary elections in 2023.
He added, “We urged the international community to unify its word in supporting the aspirations of the Libyan people for legitimate institutions.
