Cairo, Egyptian Union of Industries said it was ready to assist Libya in the reconstruction process.
A member of the Board of Food Industries of the Egyptian Union of Industries Ayman Qurra said Union officials will conduct an visit to Libya, to discuss with the Libyan side and a number of Libyan investors prospects of investments needed by the Libyan people.
Investment projects are multiple, not only in the area of reconstruction, but also in food industry sector and transformational industries, Qurra said.
He said direct meetings would be conducted with Libyan officials and investors both in Tripoli and Benghazi.
Egyptian Union of Industries is prepared to assist in reconstruction work in Libya in line with the memos signed by Libya and Egypt, and the accumulated expertise that joint Libyan-Egyptian companies have attained in the area of joint investments he added.
