Tripoli-The Al Wahat Co-operative of Dates Producers won the first place at the Cairo International Dates Festival which was held under the supervision of the Department of Cooperation and Agricultural Guidance of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock in Egypt.
The win by Al Wahat Dates Co-operative was the first at the Cairo International Dates Festival, which was held under the theme “Dates fruits of the future” in which the co-operative participated with a stand featuring quality dates.
The exhibition was organized by the Ministry of Agriculture, Land Reclamation, and the Ministry of Trade and Industry of Egypt, as well as the Arab Union of Dates. The Ministry of Agriculture expressed its thanks and appreciation to the administrative committee of the Al Wahat Co-operative of Libyan dates producers, for winning this award to confirm the quality and universality of Libyan dates and their unique taste and quality.
The participation of Al Wahat in the Cairo Dates Festival was a step towards publicizing Libyan dates in Egypt and introducing them and demonstrating their quality.
