Al-Sayeh discusses with the German ambassador to Libya developments in the electoral process.

The President of the High National Elections Commission, Imad Al-Sayeh, discussed today, Thursday, with the German Ambassador to Libya, Michael Unmecht, a number of issues related to the electoral issue.

The meeting reviewed, according to the page of the High Electoral Commission, the latest developments in the course of the electoral process, ways to strengthen it, and proposals that seek peace and stability in order to achieve the planned benefits for this year.

During the meeting, the German ambassador expressed his country’s appreciation for the national efforts seeking to complete the elections, reiterating its willingness to provide technical and advisory support, which enhances the readiness of the Commission and creates an appropriate environment for the implementation of the expected benefits, while appreciating the Commission’s efforts in dealing with the previous electoral stages.
