Berlin, The President of the Presidential Council, “Mohamed Al-Mnifi,” affirmed that the Libyan people do not forget those who stood with them, and those who stood against them during their ordeal, praising the positive role played by the State of Germany under the leadership of Chancellor “Angela Merkel” during the last period through both Berlin paths.
The President of the Presidential Council said during the press conference held today in the German capital Berlin with German Chancellor “Merkel” that we affirm that we will continue our work to complete this stage to reach the elections, according to what was agreed upon in the outcomes of Geneva and the Berlin 2 Conference, and we will follow up on the initiatives put forward in case the blockage continues, to hold parliamentary and presidential elections.
The President of the Presidential Council arrived yesterday evening to the Federal Republic of Germany on an official visit lasting two days, which he started with a meeting with a number of Arab ambassadors.
