Ageela Saleh: government assigned by the House of Representatives was formed and granted confidence by the parliament, and came as a result of consensus and in accordance with the constitutional declaration

Sirte-The Libyan government, headed by Fathi Pashagha, which submitted the budget to the Parliament, is the government that was granted confidence by the Parliament, and was not imposed on the Libyan people and was the result of a consensus and in accordance with the constitutional declaration, said The Speaker of the House of Representatives Ageela Saleh at a Parliament meeting here on Wednesday.

“The only consensus that can be described as Libyan-Libyan is what resulted in the formation of the government of Fathi Pashagha,” he said, thanking members of the High Council of State who are attending today’s session for their assessment of the dangers to the country and their siding with its interests.

The Speaker of the House of Representatives said there will be no return to fighting under any circumstances. We have not deviated from the principles of the State and have not stopped reaching out for peace under or without international auspices. He urged the continuing of going down the road of constitutional tracks, which are more important and better than threatening the use of weapons and beating the drums of war, which causes loss of a generation of young people, calling on the constitution drafting committee to move forward with the drafting of a strong constitutional formula that does not lead to conflict as it is a national action.
