Al Gubba, The Speaker of the House of Representatives Ageela Saleh said the House has started discussion on a law for direct election of the president from the people, and distribution of electoral constituencies throughout the country, to fulfill the elections on set time.
This came at a meeting Saleh held with the UN Special Envoy to Libya Jan Kupis, to discuss developments of the political process in the country.
He told the UN Envoy that the House would live up to its promise, calling on all parties to live up to their promises including the appointment of sovereign posts.
He stressed need for holding elections on set time Dec. 24.
