Tripoli, An informed source at the US Embassy in Libya refuted what is being circulated by the media and social media about the US interference in Libyan affairs.
The source said in an exclusive statement to the Libyan News Agency, “What is being circulated on some media and social media is baseless.”
The source added that “the fate of Libya and its elections is decided by the Libyans alone, and this is what the United States has always emphasized.”
The US embassy renewed its invitation to all local and foreign media to obtain news from its only source, which is the US embassy, whether through what it publishes on its website or through direct contact with the embassy’s relations department.
