Tripoli– The International Organization for Migration in Libya said today that at least (73) people are missing and are believed to have died after a boat crash off the Libyan coast.
The organization confirmed that only seven survivors were able to return to shore from the boat, which was carrying about 80 people who were reported to be on their way to Europe.
In its latest statistics, the Organization for Migration documented the death of 114 illegal immigrants and the loss of 436 others, during their attempt to cross the Mediterranean Sea from Libya to European shores, during the period from January 1 to April 30, 2022.
