Jazan Border Guards Foil Attempt to Smuggle 150 Kg of Khat

Jazan, Land patrols of the Border Guards in Jazan Province’s Farasan have foiled an attempt to smuggle 150 kilograms of khat.

Preliminary legal procedures were completed, and the confiscated items were handed over to the relevant authorities.

Security authorities urge citizens and residents to report any information they may have regarding any suspicious drug smuggling or trafficking activities by contacting 911 from Makkah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Region, and 999 from other areas of the Kingdom.

They can also report to the General Directorate of Narcotics Control (GDNC) by calling 995 or via email at 995@gdnc.gov.sa.

All reports are treated with utmost confidentiality.

KSrelief Distributes Zakat Al-Fitr in Hadramout, Yemen

Hadramout, The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) launched the distribution of 3,226 bags of rice on Tuesday in various directorates in Hadramout Governorate, benefiting 22,582 individuals.

This comes as part of the Zakat Al-Fitr project in Yemen for the year 1445 AH.

The project aims to deliver Zakat Al-Fitr to eligible families in the governorates of Al-Hudaydah, Taiz, Lahij, Aden, Marib, Hadramout, Al-Mahra, and Hajjah, benefiting 31,333 families totaling 219,331 individuals.

It supports food security for the most vulnerable groups there during Eid Al-Fitr.

The initiative comes within the framework of humanitarian efforts the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia provides through its humanitarian arm, KSrelief, to help alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people during the humanitarian crisis.

Aden, The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) on Monday distributed 3,000 cartons of dates to the most vulnerable families in Aden Governorate, Republic of Yemen, benefiting 18,000 individuals, as part of the date distribution project in the country.

The assistance comes within the humanitarian and relief efforts carried out by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through its humanitarian arm, KSrelief, to stand by the Yemeni people and alleviate their suffering amid the humanitarian crisis.

Khartoum, The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) on Monday distributed 148 shelter bags to displaced and needy families in Khartoum State, Republic of Sudan, benefiting 851 individuals, as part of the emergency shelter assistance project in Sudan for 2024.

The assistance comes within the framework of a series of relief and humanitarian projects implemented by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through KSrelief to help needy and affected countries and peoples worldwide.

Abha, The land patrols of the Border Guards in Al-Rabwah, Asir Region, have thwarted the smuggling of 330 kilograms of khat. Preliminary statutory procedures were completed, and the seizures were handed over to the competent authority.

Hajjah, Yemen, The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) distributed on Monday food baskets to 682 neediest families in Lahij Governorate, Republic of Yemen, benefiting 4,774 individuals, as part of the life-saving food aid project in Yemen.

The aid comes within the humanitarian efforts undertaken by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through KSrelief to improve food security in many countries worldwide during the holy month of Ramadan.
