WHY ROSEN LAW: We encourage investors to select qualified counsel with a track record of success in leadership roles. Often, firms issuing notices do not have comparable experience, resources or any meaningful peer recognition. Many of these firms do not actually handle securities class actions, but are merely middlemen that refer clients or partner with law firms that actually litigate the cases. Be wise in selecting counsel. The Rosen Law Firm represents investors throughout the globe, concentrating its practice in securities class actions and shareholder derivative litigation. Rosen Law Firm has achieved the largest ever securities class action settlement against a Chinese Company. Rosen Law Firm was Ranked No. 1 by ISS Securities Class Action Services for number of securities class action settlements in 2017. The firm has been ranked in the top 4 each year since 2013 and has recovered hundreds of millions of dollars for investors. In 2019 alone the firm secured over $438 million for investors. In 2020, founding partner Laurence Rosen was named by law360 as a Titan of Plaintiffs’ Bar. Many of the firm’s attorneys have been recognized by Lawdragon and Super Lawyers.

DETAILS OF THE CASE: According to the lawsuit, defendants made false and/or misleading statements regarding the Company’s business, operations, and prospects. Specifically, defendants failed to disclose to investors that: (1) Funko was experiencing significantly larger delays in implementing its enterprise resource planning (ERP) software than it was disclosing to investors; (2) having moved into a new warehouse without functioning ERP software in place would lead to dramatically higher costs and poorer inventory management practices; and (3) Funko’s inability to efficiently operate the new distribution center would have a substantial, undisclosed impact on Funko’s EBITDA margin. When the true details entered the market, the lawsuit claims that investors suffered damages.

Human Rights Ministry condemns American, British and French policies continuation towards Yemen

The Ministry of Human Rights condemned the continuation of the American, British and French policies targeting Yemeni human rights and deepening their suffering in all fields.

In a statement, a copy of which was received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the ministry denounced the politicization of humanitarian files by America, Britain and France in violation of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the Vienna Declaration, warning of the repercussions of these positions on the reality of the worsening human suffering.

“we remind those countries and their regimes that pay lip service to their advocacy of human rights that all human rights are interdependent, whether they are civil, political, economic, social or cultural, “the ministry said.

The ministry held America, Britain and France responsible for what the Yemeni people are exposed to from the use of starvation as a tool of war and manipulation of humanitarian issues under false titles that resulted in casualties and disastrous statistics on civilians, health care, high rates of poverty and indirect death.

It explained that the Yemeni people had hoped that the United Nations would move towards ending the suffering of millions of Yemenis as a result of crimes and policies that burdened civilians and severely affected the most vulnerable groups of women and children.

Human Rights Ministry indicated that the statement of those countries blatantly transcends the tasks of the United Nations and its humanitarian charters and confuses cards and flips the facts, and presents these countries as sponsors of the blockade and a major actor in the exacerbating human suffering.

The statement stressed that it is not surprising that those who sponsored the military aggression and committed the most heinous crimes against civilians, especially women and children, should continue their crimes against civilians in all other fields.

It stressed that the payment of salaries of state employees, pensions of retirees, and social security allowances is one of the rights of the Yemeni people.

The statement also stressed that, based on the international religious and humanitarian covenants, the Yemenis exercised their legitimate right to protect and preserve their usurped rights after they were deprived of them, and were even used against them in committing the most heinous crimes.

The Ministry called on the United Nations, the international community, global human rights organizations, and all free people in the world to condemn the American, British, and French position, and to stand up for absent humanitarian principles.
