Misr-Sat 2 to be launched in cooperation with China in October

Official in charge of Misr-Sat 2 satellite project Ahmed Refaei unveiled details about launching the satellite in the first week of October at a cost of $74 million.

In statements to MENA on Sunday, he said the assembly of the satellite was completed in collaboration with China.

The satellite will be sent to China on June 28 in preparation for final tests ahead of the launch.

The mission of the satellite is imaging Egyptian soil to preserve the environment and undertaking remote sensing.
