KSrelief Delivers 125 Tons of Dates as Saudi Gift to Jordan

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) handed over the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s gift to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, which included 125 tons of dates, to be distributed to the neediest families.

The Saudi Ambassador to Jordan, Naif bin Bandar Al-Sudairi, delivered the aid in the presence of the President of the Royal Hashemite Court, Youssef Al-Issawi, and the Director of the KSrelief Office in Jordan, Naif Al-Shammari.

Al-Sudairi expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince for the services they provide to the needy wherever they are, and to the KSrelief for its follow-up and direct supervision of the implementation of such distinguished humanitarian and relief projects.

This gift comes within the programs offered by the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to a number of brotherly and friendly countries to distribute it to needy families.

stc Group Provides Advanced Digital Technologies in Response to the Increase of Network Usage in Madinah during Ramadan

The stc Group has expanded its network capabilities by 18% in Madinah to meet the increasing demand for its network and accommodate the rising number of visitors during the peak of Umrah season in the holy month of Ramadan.

Ministry of Oil warns against continued looting of Yemen’s oil & mineral wealth

The Ministry of Oil and Minerals warned against the continued looting of Yemen’s oil and mineral wealth by the mercenary government and companies still operating within the territory of the Republic of Yemen under the authority of the National Salvation Government.

The ministry indicated, in a statement issued on Wednesday Saba received a copy, that despite the armistice and the tireless attempts of the President of the Supreme Political Council and the National Salvation Government for peace, there are those who continue to plunder mineral resources to this day.

The ministry said in the statement, “We at the Ministry of Oil and Minerals are following this closely, and we will work with the competent authorities to deter and stop any looting of mineral wealth, we reserve our legal right to hold all those involved in the looting process accountable, whether they are individuals, companies, or otherwise, and we will work in every way to recover all the looted funds and wealth.”

Oman, Sri Lanka Hold Bilateral Cooperation Consultation Session

The 3rd session of consultations between the Sultanate of Oman and Sri Lanka took place today.

The session was chaired by head of the international cooperation department at the Omani Ministry of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Hamad bin Saif Al Rawahi whereas from the Sri Lankan side by Ambassador Mohamed Jawhar, Additional Secretary for Middle East and African Affairs, Consular Affairs, and Overseas Sri Lankans at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Sri Lanka.

During the consultation session, both sides discussed existing aspects of bilateral cooperation in various fields and ways to enhance them in service of both countries’ interests, in addition to exchanging views on issues of mutual concern.

Kuwait Bourse Closes Higher

Kuwait Bourse closed up on Wednesday as the All Share Index gained 89.4 points to reach 6,993.18 points, an increase of 1.30 percent.

As many as 148.9 million shares valued at KD 48.8 million (roughly USD 147.8 million) were traded via 10,826 transactions.

The Main Market Index went up by 11.17 points to reach 5,483.19 points, an increase of 0.21 percent, through 36.4 million shares done via 2,234 transactions valued at KD 3.3 million (roughly USD 9.9 million).

The Premier Market Index went up by 118 points to reach 7,763.54 points, an increase of 1.5 percent through 112.5 million shares done via 8,592 transactions valued at KD 45.5 million (roughly USD 137.8 million).

Meanwhile, the bourse Main 50 Index increased by 12.2 points to the level of 5,498.38 points, up by 0.22 percent, through stock volume of 32.7 million shares done in 1,807 deals at a value of KD 3.13 million (roughly USD 9.4 million).
