Turan demands from Diyala to redress the history of the Turkmens and grant them their administrative rights

The Head of the Iraqi Turkmen Front, Hassan Turan, renewed the adherence of the people of the Turkmen component to the unity of Iraq and rejected any project to divide it, and that the Turkmen are always ready to defend Iraqi soil.

This came during the Ramadan evening held in memory of the martyrs of Iraq and the Alton Bridge massacre, in the city of Baquba, Diyala Governorate.

The head of the Iraqi Turkmen Front demanded that the Turkmen be granted their legitimate administrative rights and that the Turkmen suffer from marginalization in the local government, calling on the Turkmen masses in Diyala to update the voter register to ensure wide participation in the upcoming local elections in order to defend the rights of the Turkmen component

First Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi met today, Friday, Bafel Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, in Sulaymaniyah Governorate.

During the meeting, according to a statement by al-Mandalawi office, they discussed a number of important files between the center and the region, and emphasized the importance of expediting the legislation of the Federal General Budget Law for the current year because it is directly related to the affairs of the state and the interests of citizens, and in a way that guarantees the rights of all governorates to implement service and investment programs and projects.

The First Deputy called on the Turkish authorities to resume flights to Sulaymaniyah International Airport, expressing his surprise at the Turkish decision to suspend flights to the airport despite it being subject to the Iraqi Civil Aviation Authority and abiding by international aviation laws, regulations and systems.

The Israeli army launches raids on Lebanon

Libyan Embassy in Cairo is discussing the file of Libyan patients in Egyptian hospitals.

The Chargé d’Affaires of the Libyan Embassy in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, Mohamed Abdel-Aali Mesbah, discussed with the Financial Manager and the head of the health office in charge of the embassy, the file of Libyan patients in Egypt.

The embassy stated in a statement, that this step comes in light of the mission’s endeavor to provide the best services to Libyan patients in Egyptian clinics and hospitals, and to pay close attention and follow-up to this file, in terms of ensuring that patients receive treatment in return for the amounts paid to those clinics.

The embassy added, that the meeting dealt with dealing with the fact that some sanatoriums discharge patients while they are receiving treatment and the requirement to transfer full sums of money, noting that this is reprehensible and unjustified, especially since the embassy is committed in its dealings with these sanatoriums, and that all the steps taken by the health office and the financial department, its aim is to ensure that patients receive the best treatment services and to reduce the phenomenon of inappropriate treatment of Libyan patients by some hospitals.

Members of the Joint Military Committee (5 + 5) arrive in Benghazi.

Members of the Joint Military Committee (5 + 5) and security and military leaders in the western region arrived today, Friday, at Benina Airport in Benghazi.

The members of the joint committee had held a meeting in Tripoli on March 26, in the presence of the UN envoy, “Abdullah Batili” and a number of security and military leaders in the western and eastern regions, in order to unify efforts to organize the elections and put in place mechanisms for communication between the security and military units to secure them, and reject the division to get the country to safety.
