Batili and Al-Mashri discuss tracks supporting holding elections.

The head of the High Council of State, “Khaled Al-Mashri”, met today, Monday, the UN envoy, Mr. “Abdullah Batili” at his residence in the capital, Tripoli.

During the meeting, the Council’s position on electoral laws, which should not exclude anyone for political reasons, was emphasized.

For his part, Batili stressed the importance of reaching agreements that take into account the current situation in the country and help in reaching the elections, according to what was published by the Media Office of the High Council of the State on its official Facebook page.

The discussion took place on the last meeting of the 5 + 5 Military Committee in Tripoli, and the emphasis on the role of this track in supporting the electoral process by developing plans to secure the elections.

Undersecretary of the Ministry of Industry and Minerals confirms the readiness of the sector for the return of Chinese companies to Libya.

The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Industry and Minerals for Public Affairs, Production, and Industrial Zones, Mustafa Al-Samo, discussed with representatives of some Chinese companies the mechanisms of their work and how to start working inside Libya and create partnerships with the public and private sectors.

Al-Samo confirmed Libya’s readiness for the return of the Chinese companies, similar to the return of a number of other foreign companies working in more than one field.

The meeting came within the framework of the ministry’s plan to activate the industrial sector by attracting local companies, banks, and foreign companies.

Al-Dabaiba: Tripoli’s stability provided an opportunity to advance efforts to unify the military and security institutions.

The Head of the Government of National Unity, Abdul-Hamid Al-Dabaiba, confirmed that Tripoli’s stability gave an opportunity to advance local and international paths to unify the military and security institutions.

“This stability also contributed to the progress of our preparations for achieving national elections, according to fair and impartial laws that end the transitional stages,” Al-Dabaiba said in a tweet.

“The elections will achieve a peaceful solution to the state of division and wars that threaten Libya’s unity and the cohesion of our society,” he added.

The PM concluded his tweet by saying “our constants are clear, yes to the civil state, no to the military state, yes to elections, no to extensions, yes to peace, no to wars. “

Al-Dabaiba’s tweet came as a remark on the meeting of a number of Libyan Army leaders from east and west in Tripoli yesterday, supervised by the Joint Military Committee 5+5 and the auspices of the UN mission, with the aim of unifying the two military and security institutions and renouncing division to exit the country to safety.
