Al-Dabaiba: We reject the futility of countries and control of the fate of Libya

Tripoli- The head of the national unity government, “Abdul Hamid al-Dabaiba,” affirmed his and his government’s adherence to the unity of Libya, and his rejection of any attempts to dismantle or divide it in any way, and Libya will remain one and united.

This came in a speech he gave during his honor today, Sunday, in the city of Misrata, on the occasion of the implementation of Law No. (1) of 2014 regarding the care of the families of the martyrs and the missing.

Al-Dabaiba expressed his rejection of what he described as the absurdity of states and the control of the fate of Libya, or its rule by a military authority, saying (we do not want a military authority to rule us again).

The head of the national unity government added, “Libya enjoys calm and is witnessing security and economic stability.”

Al-Dabaiba announced that the flag of liberation and independence raised by the heroes of February, and raised and made by them by the fathers who liberated the country from occupation and colonialism, cannot be traded or argued with.

The Central Bank of Libya confirms that its gold balance has not decreased since 2011

Tripoli- The Central Bank of Libya denied today, Monday, what the media recently reported about Libya’s lack of gold reserves.

And the bank confirmed in a notice posted on its official page that its gold balance has been the same without any decrease since August 20, 2011.

The bank said that within the framework of the bank’s plan for transparency and disclosure, the bank carried out an international audit of the gold reserves during the year 2022, and the results confirmed that the bank maintained the same balance without change from August 2011.

The bank called on all media outlets to investigate accuracy and credibility when publishing any data related to the competence and activity of the Central Bank of Libya.
