Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses condolences to Algeria for the victims of the fires that broke out in the past two days

Tripoli – Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation expressed its sincere condolences and sympathy to the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, and its brotherly people, in their painful affliction as a result of the fires that broke out during the past two days and left a number of victims, praying to the Almighty God to bless them with his mercy and that He grants their family patience and solace, and grants the injured a speedy recovery.

The Ministry affirmed in a statement today its full support and solidarity with the brothers in the Algerian Republic and the Republic of Tunisia, as they were affected by the fires that reached the border areas adjacent to Algeria.

Dabaiba : Economy liberated in some aspects but this liberation was not regulated

Tripoli – Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdel Hamid Dabaiba, affirmed his support for the private sector and his full conviction of the importance of its role in the national economy.

This came during his visit, Thursday, to the headquarters of the General Federation of Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture in the capital, Tripoli, accompanied by the Minister of Economy and Trade, Mohamed Al-Hawij.”

During his meeting with the President of the General Federation of Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, Muhammad Al-Raed, in the presence of the Director General of the Federation, a number of members of the Federation’s Management Committee and a number of businessmen, he touched on the weakness of state institutions in most areas of the economy, noting that the economy was liberated in some aspects after The February 17 Revolution, but this liberation was not codified, stressing the need to regulate and legalize the relationship between the private and public sectors. Federation President, Mohammed Al-Raid welcomed the visit of the Prime Minister to the Federation, considering it an initiative towards the private sector and businessmen, and a step in the right direction towards a free and sound economy.

The meeting discussed all the obstacles facing businessmen; Leading to the demand to take serious steps and measures to support the “capitalization” of the private sector, support employment in the private sector, and solve the problems of banks and banking restrictions that restrict the movement of trade.

During the meeting, it was emphasized that solutions to the problems of businessmen’s debts with the state were put in place, and they agreed on a set of measures that should be taken in the near future, which would overcome the obstacles facing the private sector in all fields, and contribute to lifting the burden on the public sector.

Al Dabaiba welcomes decision of the General Assembly of the Supreme Court to reactivate the Constitutional Chamber

Tripoli-The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Al Dabaiba on Thursday welcomed the decision of the General Assembly of the Supreme Court to reactivate the Constitutional Chamber.

Al Dabaiba said, in a post on his SMS page ‘We welcome the decision of the General Assembly of the Supreme Court to reactivate the Constitutional Chamber.

‘Perhaps it will be a deterrent to the excesses practiced by the parties and decisions contrary to the political agreement, being the constitutional document governing the stage; the independence of the judiciary and the existence of a governing constitution as a basis for the stability of the country, he said.
