The head of the Supreme Council of State discusses with the Turkish Foreign Minister ways to develop cooperation between the two countries

Tripoli- Head of the Supreme Council of State, Khaled Al-Mashri, met today, Tuesday, in the Turkish capital, Ankara, with Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu.

The meeting, which was attended by Council members Hammad Brikao and Noureddine Sultan and the Chargé d’Affairs at the Libyan Embassy Abdullah Shaaban, discussed ways to develop cooperation between the two countries in all fields, and efforts to resolve the political crisis in the country.

During the meeting, the Turkish Minister “Cavusoglu” reiterated his country’s continued support for Libya to overcome the political crisis and achieve permanent stability in the country.

Tripoli-The Libyan author and novelist Ibrahim Al-Koni was recently involved in a car accident, which caused him to suffer many injuries and fractures. Sources close to the novelist told the Libyan News Agency that his health was good, and that he was recovering after undergoing intensive treatment, and performing some operations to treat the fractures that he sustained in the accident.

Al-Koni communicated through his personal page on the social network “Facebook” with his followers, friends and lovers, and reassured them of his health. They wished him a speedy recovery, the sources added.

Al-Koni wrote to his followers in his philosophical narrative style a lengthy essay entitled “My gratitude, my friends, congratulating you on my pain! How much the cup of life would have been incredibly sweet, had it not been mixed with a few drops of bitter tears) deeply immersed in it in human life, the concept of existence and pain, and man’s journey with the value of life.

It is noteworthy that the great Libyan novelist Ibrahim Al-Koni who is fluent in nine languages, gained fame through his intellectual production, which was embodied in about (80) books, most of which were translated into many international languages. Many of the literary and fictional works of Al Koni focused on a number of elements specific to the world of the desert, the world in which he was born and raised, and the understanding of its rituals and subtleties, including its scarcity, expansion, cruelty and openness to the essence of the universe and existence, and most of his novels revolve around the essence of the relationship between man and the desert nature and its assets and its world governed by inevitability and the unpreventable destiny.

Security Directorates Support Force storms hideouts of illegal immigrants in the airport road area, arrests them

Tripoli-The Fourth Division of the Support Force of the Security Directorates in the Regions carried out at dawn on Monday large-scale raids targeting the hideouts of illegal immigrants in the airport road area and arresting many of them.

The force said on its SMS page that the raid was carried out after receiving many complaints and reports from resident of the areas that some weak souls are renting houses and farms indiscriminately.

It pointed out that most of the houses are exploited by some foreign nationalities as dens to practice prostitution, obscenity and the use of alcohol and drugs, and using these properties hideouts after carrying out thefts and robberies of shops and houses throughout the past period, most of which were documented and photographed and show that the perpetrators are of foreign nationalities.

Al-Manfi reviews with the Libyan ambassador to Jordan the file of the Libyan community, the conditions of the students, and the Libyan patients present in Jordan

Tripoli- The President of the Presidential Council, “Mohammed Al-Manfi,” met today, Tuesday, the Libyan ambassador to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, “Abdul Baset Al-Badri”.

The Presidential Media Office stated that the ambassador briefed Al-Manfi on the progress of the diplomatic mission in the Kingdom, as well as reviewing the file of the Libyan community, and checking the conditions of students and Libyan patients in Jordan.
