“Egypt Air”, will resume flights to Benghazi tomorrow

Cairo- The airline, Egypt Air, confirmed that it will start operating its direct flights between the cities of Cairo and Benghazi, after an 11-year hiatus due to the deteriorating security conditions, starting tomorrow, Monday, April 18th.

The head of the holding company for Egypt Air, “Amr Aboul-Enein”, said in an interview with the Cairo 24 website, on social network, that the company will operate the first flight.

Daily and direct between Cairo and Benghazi on board its Boeing plane.

Abul-Enein explained that (this is in the context of the continuation of the ambitious plan set by the company within the vision of the Ministry of Civil Aviation, to enhance its presence on the African continent.

Abul-Enein indicated that the company pays special attention to points of strategic importance, including the city of Benghazi, especially with the presence of many Egyptians residing and working in Libya, in addition to its endeavor to enhance trade and economic exchange between the Arab Republic of Egypt and Libya.
