The Yemeni president congratulated the President of the Presidential Council, expressing on this great occasion his sincere congratulations and best wishes to the brotherly Libyan people, praying that God protect Libya and its people from all harm.

Tripoli- The President of the Presidential Council, “Mohamed Al-Mnifi” received a congratulatory message on the occasion of the month of Ramadan from the President of the Republic of Tunisia, “Qais Saeed”.

In his telegram to al-Mnifi, the Tunisian president sent congratulations on this occasion, wishing him and the Libyan people continued stability and development.

He also reiterated his keenness to work together to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood and fruitful cooperation relations between the two countries, and to advance them to the best of the two brotherly peoples.

Dabiba stresses the need to disburse the wife’s grant for 2021 and 2022.

Tripoli-The Head of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Al-Dabaiba, has issued instructions for disbursing the wife’s grant for 2021 and 2022, stressing the need to work in coordination with the Civil Status Department and the General Information Authority in particular.

This came during the visit the Prime Minister made on Tuesday, to the Ministry of Social Affairs to follow up on the work of a number of departments and offices in the ministry and the office of the minister’s affairs, stressing the need to speed up the implementation of projects assigned to the ministry, most notably the disbursement of grants to wives and children.

During the visit, Al-Dabiba listened to staff of Ministry of Social Affairs, to get firsthand account of the difficulties they faced, and instructed the Minister to invite the directors of departments and offices to hold an extensive meeting to address the difficulties and problems facing the work of the ministry.

The Prime Minister stressed the need to continue to pay the children’s allowance for the next six months, which has been referred to the Central Bank of Libya, as well as the need to take care of the nursing homes and provide them with the necessary services until the ministry’s 2022 plan is published, and make the matter a priority.

Representatives of the House of Representatives and the Supreme Council of State begin a meeting today in Cairo to lay down a constitutional basis.

Cairo- Representatives of the House of Representatives and the Supreme Council of State began meetings in Cairo today, Wednesday, to lay down a consensual constitutional basis that leads to national elections.

The meetings extend to April 20, with the participation of the Adviser to the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Stephanie Williams.

Parliament spokesman, Abdullah Blihaq, said that the meetings are held in accordance with the decision of the House of Representatives to review the points and articles in dispute in the draft constitution.

Blihaq explained, “The committee of the House of Representatives was formed based on the twelfth constitutional amendment approved by the House last February, which amends the controversial articles in the draft constitution submitted by the Constituent Assembly for the Drafting of the Constitution.”

He added that “the House of Representatives committee is authorized, according to its founding decision, to make the necessary amendments in the draft constitution only,” noting that “the decision to establish the committee provides for referring anything contrary to that to the House of Representatives for a decision, and therefore the committee has no right but to discuss the issue of controversial points in the Constitution”.

Head of Press Office of Ministry of Youth: launch of the electoral process of the Libyan Youth Parliament

Tripoli-The Head of Press Office of the Ministry of Youth “Marwa Baroni” announced the launch of the electoral process of the Libyan Youth Parliament from April 13 to the beginning of May.

Baroni said in a press statement, that a committee was set up by the Minister of Youth to launch the electronic electoral process of the youth parliament after the list of foundations and rules was drafted to introduce electronic systems of the electoral process.

The Prime Minister inspects the progress of work at the Ministry of Civil Service

Tripoli, April 13, 2022 – The Prime Minister of the National Unity Government, “Abdul Hamid Al-Dabaiba” inspected this afternoon, Wednesday, the work progress of the Ministry of Civil Service.

The media office of the Prime Minister stated that “Dabaiba” discussed, during a meeting that included the designated Minister of Civil Service, agents and directors of departments in the ministry, in the presence of the Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, a number of files, including the issue of regulating the public office, financial releases, and staffing for workers in the state sectors.

The Prime Minister said during the meeting that the difficult conditions that the country went through prevented the private sector from growing and providing job opportunities, stressing that the abundance of appointments from all sectors without a real need must stop.

Dabaiba stressed during the meeting the need to absorb the real employees and workers, through solutions set by the ministry to organize redundant jobs and set the necessary controls for that.
