Ageela Saleh discusses with UK Ambassador latest developments in Libya

Al Gubba-Speaker of the House of Representatives, Ageela Saleh discussed Saturday with UK Ambassador Caroline Hurndall ways of strengthening joint cooperation between the two countries and the latest developments in Libya.

This came in a phone call received by Ageela Saleh, according to the Communication Office of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, which said Saleh explained to Ambassador Hurndall legality of the measures taken between the House of Representatives and the High Council of State, in regard to the twelfth constitutional amendment, and the selection of a new prime minister.

Hurndall said she will visit Benghazi and the eastern region in the next two days to meet with the Speaker at his residence in Al Gubba, according to the Communication Office.

The Minister of Economy and Trade approves 53 investment projects distributed over all regions of the country

Tripoli- The Minister of Economy and Trade, “Mohammed Al-Hawij” approved today, Saturday, a number of investment projects in the sectors of agriculture, food industries, building materials and renewable energies.

Al-Hawij directed the implementation of the approved projects, totaling 53 investment projects distributed over all regions, with 24 projects in the southern region, 12 projects in the eastern region, and 17 in the western region.

The implementation of these projects comes in coordination with the General Authority for Investment Promotion and Privatization Affairs and in cooperation with investors from the local and foreign private sectors, according to what was published by the official page of the ministry via the “Facebook” website.
