Government creates colleges and higher institutes in several cities and regions

Tripoli, The Council of Ministers of the Government of National Unity issued a decision to establish colleges and higher institutes affiliated with the Ministry of Technical and Technical Education.

According to Cabinet Resolution No. (677) for the year 2021, the newly created colleges and higher institutes are: Faculty of Engineering Technologies in Yafran. College of Information Technology in Sebha, Higher Institute of Marine Technology and Sciences in the Free Zone – Misurata. Higher Institute of Agricultural Technologies in Al-Fataih – Derna. The Higher Institute of Science and Technology – Al-Aweeniya. Higher Institute of Science and Technology in Badr District – Baten al-Jabal Municipality. The decision of the Council of Ministers also stipulated that the following higher institutes of science and technology colleges be raised: Higher Institute of Science and Technology – Jadu, the Higher Institute of Science and Technology – Al-Rayyana.

Director of the Vaccination Department at the Center for Disease Control: We have agreed with the Ministry of Education to vaccinate students over the age of 12

Tripoli, The Director of the Vaccination Department at the Center for Disease Control, “Abdul Baset Samio,” said that the center discussed with the Ministry of Education a mechanism to vaccinate school students.

Samio explained in press statements that the two sides agreed to vaccinate students over the age of 12, noting that vaccinating those without that is out of the question.

He added that the Steering Committee for Vaccination against the Corona virus discussed with the National Center the daily vaccination rates, the mechanism of the national vaccination campaign, and worked on preparing a plan to raise vaccination rates in all centers.

He pointed out that the campaign to vaccinate citizens with the Chinese vaccine (Sinopharma) is continuing, and the American vaccine (Pfizer) is given to pregnant women, the elderly and health workers as a third booster dose.

“Samio” pointed out that the center is working to make an adjustment in the time period between the last dose and the booster dose, so that it is 3 months instead of 6 months, pointing out that vaccination centers continue to work and the average turnout of citizens.

The meeting reviewed the appropriate mechanisms to benefit from their expertise, whether by contracting or by effective consultations that ensure the progress of work and operation, similar to international airlines, in addition to drawing up a work plan for the year 2022 to save the company, according to what was published by the official page of the company.

Cairo, The Permanent Representative of Libya to Arab League, Ambassador Abdulmutallab Thabet, and the Permanent Representative of the Sultanate of Oman to the League, Ambassador Abdullah bin Nasser Al-Rahbi, reviewed the bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries, and the historical ties that unite the State of Libya. and the Sultanate of Oman.

During the meeting, which was held Wednesday in Cairo, the two sides discussed a number of Arab and international issues and files of common interest.

The two parties agreed on the importance of enhancing cooperation and joint work between the two countries for the benefit of the two friendly peoples, within the framework of joint Arab action under the umbrella of the League of Arab States.

Coordinator of UN mission listens to presidential candidate Matiq about Benghazi meeting.

Tripoli, The Acting Head of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya, the Coordinator of the Mission, Risden Zeninga met yesterday with the presidential candidate, Ahmed Maiteeq.

According to UNSMIL on its Twitter page, Reisden Zeninga stressed during the meeting the importance of maintaining focus on advancing the electoral process as a priority, and overcoming the legal aspects.

It said that the mission coordinator listened to Maiteeq about the recent meeting held in Benghazi between the main Libyan parties, where it focused on reconciliation and expanding this dialogue, a positive and welcome initiative as part of efforts to achieve a political settlement and create an atmosphere conducive to peace and inclusive, credible, free and fair elections.
