Joint Military Commission (5+5) is heading to Turkey and Russia to complete agreement to remove mercenaries and foreign forces from Libya.

Tripoli, Members of the Joint Military Commission (5+5) headed to Turkey and then to Russia for talks with officials of the two countries on the removal of mercenaries and foreign forces from Libya.

The committee said on its SMS page on Thursday that the Commission delegation went to Turkey to complete before it would complete its journey to Moscow to complete what was agreed upon regarding evacuation of foreign forces and mercenaries and implementing a timetable plan for their departure after coordination was made regarding mercenaries of neighboring countries that agreed to secure their return.

The Interior Ministry Considers security arrangements to open the Korean Embassy in Tripoli.

Tripoli, The Director of the Department of Relations and Cooperation of the Ministry of Interior, Brigadier Salaheddine Ben Suleiman met Thursday with the South Korean Ambassador to Libya. The meeting was attended by the Head of International Cooperation in the Administration.

The Communication Office of the Ministry of Interior said the meeting was an extension of a previous meeting, to discuss security arrangements for reopening of the Korean Embassy in Tripoli.

The meeting discussed cooperation and support in the field of security and the possibility of introducing a number of training programs in the field of information technology, combating cybercrime and benefiting from Korean expertise in this field, The Communication office added.
