The delegation of the Scout Movement thanked the Prime Minister for his continuous encouragement of the movement and for keeping the doors of communication open. They also called on the government to support the movement and its activities.

The two parties also stressed – according to the statement – the importance of the exit of all mercenaries, foreign fighters and foreign forces from Libyan territory, and “the possible role of the League of Arab States, especially the Arab countries neighboring Libya in this area, by playing a mediating role with the countries to which these mercenaries belong to ensure their exit is gradual, balanced and simultaneous, avoiding Libya and all countries in the region from the potential risks of this exit.”

During the meeting, Al-Koni stressed that regional problems must be solved with regional initiatives, and that he relies a lot on the role of the Arab League in this regard.. He stressed the importance of the Arab League’s support for the electoral process in Libya and sending observers as a guarantee for the conduct of the elections in order to achieve their success.
