Al Breiga Reassures Motorists Fuel Available And Congestion Caused By Load Shedding.

Tripoli, The Al Breiga Petroleum Marketing Co. has reassured motorists that fuel was available at its reservoirs and supply was underway as normal.

The Company attributed congestion at petrol stations to long hours of power outage, and said that in spite of the fact that most stations have substitute sources of power, it was insufficient because of high temperatures.

It appealed to the general public to show common responsibility to avoid un-warranted causes of crisis.

Tripoli, The First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, “Fawzi Al-Nuiri,” met today, Wednesday, the Turkish ambassador to Libya, Mr. “Kanaan Yilmaz”.

Where the meeting, which was held at the headquarters of the Council’s branch in Tripoli, discussed the bilateral relations between the two countries and the general situation in the country, according to what was reported by the Media Office of the House of Representatives.

Urgent Instructions To Quickly Issue Entry Visas To Experts And Engineers Of Companies Contracting With The Electricity Company.

Tripoli, The head of the Passports and Nationality Authority, Dean “Youssef Abdullah Murad” issued urgent instructions to the head of the Electricity Passports Branch to quickly complete and issue the necessary visas for those assigned to work tasks inside the country.

The authority said in a publication on its official page that the instructions came based on the meeting that took place between the authority’s head and the director of the General Electricity Company “Wiam Al-Abdali” today, Wednesday, regarding finding a mechanism to ensure the speedy submission of procedures for obtaining entry visas for experts and engineers for some companies contracting with the electricity company.

The authority stressed that it is very keen to overcome all difficulties and facilitate procedures for the electricity company to contribute to alleviating the suffering of the citizen in this area in accordance with the laws and legislation in force.

The United Kingdom Welcomes The Participation Of The Government Of National Unity In The COP26 Summit On Climate.

London, The United Kingdom welcomed the participation of the Government of National Unity in the Global Climate Summit (COP26), which will be hosted this year by the city of Glasgow, in the presence of world leaders.

The UK government considered that Libya’s participation in international talks on how to address this issue and help it ratify the Paris Agreement, is of paramount importance.

According to what was published by the British Embassy in Libya, world leaders participating in the COP26 summit will discuss the best ways to combat climate change and achieve the goals of the Paris Agreement, which aims to keep global temperature rise below 1.5 degrees Celsius, which is critical to limiting the impact of climate change.

The embassy stressed the need to move forward in limiting the impact of climate change, as it is a global issue that requires global efforts, and it must work with all countries to solve it.
