Tripoli, Minister of Health of the Government of National Unity has urged the Municipal Council of Al Shuweiref to impose precautionary measures to avoid CoronaVirus infections.

The Minister was reassured, at an audience with the Mayor and members of the local council of Al Shuweiref, about the epidemic situation.

The Ministry of Health received a report on Monday on spread of CoronaVirus in Al Shuweiref area, the Ministry’s emergency department has taken a series of measures to control the pandemic in coordination with quarantine centres in Gharyan and …….. Centre in Brak Al Shati, to accommodate emergency cases of Coronavirus infections in the Municipality.

Foreign Minister Says At Meeting In Rome Libya Had Key Role In Defeating Da’esh.

Rome, GNU Foreign Minister Najla Al Mangoush has taken part in the ministerial meeting of of the International Coalition Against ISIS ‘Da’esh’ which kicked off in the Italian capital on Monday, chaired by Italian Foreign Minister Luigo Di Maio and his American Counterpart Antony Blinken, and attended by representative of 83 countries.

In her remarks before the conference, Al Mangoush said the meeting of members of the international coalition against Da’esh reaffirms commitment on our part to do our duty to protect our countries from an extremist organization which ravaged cities and towns and killed innocent people.

She outlined the difficult phases in which Libya has gone through in confronting Da’esh in the last years militarily and otherwise in different cities until it was destroyed in the city of Sirte.

‘Libya was one of the leading countries in curtailing Da’esh in the region, after it desperately sought to make Libya a safe refuge for its elements coming from tension spot like Iraq and Syria and the Sahel countries in Africa.

Al Mangoush noted the positive developments in Libya, which she said would boost its security and stability and those of neighboring countries, through the creation of the Presidency Council and the Government of National Unity.

She paid tribute to international efforts to support Libya by executing the outcome of the Berlin 1 Conference with all tracks and Berlin 2which underscored importance of stability of Libya politically, economically and militarily.

Al Mangoush said Libya’s stability would have positive impact on neighboring countries and the Sahel countries which suffer from terrorist organisations and flow of migration.

‘Libya will be an oasis pf peace and security where there will be no place for extremism and terrorism, she said.

She reiterated commitment of the Presidency Council and the Government of National Unity to international law and International Humanitarian Law and all measures to protect civilians and children and to improve conditions for local communities and conflict-ridden societies.

Al Dbeiba Hold Talks With His Moroccan Counterpart On Bilateral Exchange.

Rabat, The Head of the Government of National Unity Abdul Hamid Al Dbeiba held talks here on Monday with his Moroccan Counterpart Saadeddine Othmani.

The Communication Office of the Moroccan Head of Government said the meeting focused on bilateral exchange and the meeting of the Libyan-Moroccan Joint Committee. The two sides highlighted the strong ties linking the two counties and their desire to make the relationship closer.

The Head of the Government of National Unity expressed appreciation by the Libyan people of all efforts made by King Mohamed VI and the Kingdom of Morocco and their support of Libya which was highly valued by the people of Libya.

On his part, Al Othmani welcomed the visit by the Libyan Head of Government, which he considered an opportunity to push forward relations between the two countries on all levels.

He said Morocco looked forward to the forthcoming elections in Libya, reaffirming Moroccan support to resolve the Libyan case in a way that pleases all Libyan people within the Libyan framework of sovereignty.
