President Of Presidency Council Says His And President Saied Viewpoints Have Been Identical On Local, Regional And International Issues.

Tunis, President of Presidency Council Mohamed Al Mnefi, who is on an official visit to Tunisia, expressed Libya’s thanks and gratitude to Tunisia for the support they offered to Libya during the upheavals which the country has witnessed, highlighting the visit by President Saied to Libya, the first by any president after the Presidency Council took over in Libya earlier this year.

Al Mnefi was speaking at a joint press conference with President Saied, after arriving in Tunis on an official visit in reply to an invitation from the President.

‘My visit is a continuation of the Liaison and dialogue on a number of issues that had been raised during Saied’s visit to Libya, Al Mnefi said.

‘Libya’s relationship with Tunisia is historical and will continue to make progress on all levels, he said.

‘We have discussed a number of issues of common interest on the local, regional and international levels, and our viewpoints were identical on all we have discussed, Al Mnefi said.

Tunisian Presidency: Talks Between Al Mnefi And Saied Reflect Deep Historical Ties.

Tunis, Tunisian Presidency announced Saturday President Qeis Saied and President of the Presidency Council Mohamed Al Mnefi have held a closed door meeting on Saturday, which was preceded by a meeting of the delegations of the two countries.

The Presidency said in a statement the two sides emphasized the deeply rooted ties linking the two countries, and the unshakable will to further cement the relationship and exchange between the two countries.

According to the Presidency the two sides exchanged viewpoints of a number of issues of common interest with the aim of further enhancing cooperation and integration in a spirit of brotherhood and mutual coordination.

There was an agreement on the need for exchange visits by officials of both countries, and to activate the cooperation frameworks and to accelerate bilateral exchange and collaboration in all political, economic, security nd cultural issues.
