In A Joint Statement: Jadu Municipality And The Pandemic Control Committee Confirm A Significant Decrease In The Number Of Covid-19 Infections.

Jadu, The municipal council and the supreme committee to combat the Corona epidemic in the municipality of Jadu confirmed a significant decrease in infections that is “zero”, noting that the municipality had not recorded any cases of the Corona epidemic for nearly a week.

In a joint statement published on the municipality’s official page, the council and the committee praised the efforts of the competent authorities and the response of the people of the city of Jadu and their commitment to the precautionary measures, especially wearing masks.

The statement said that the city avoided an epidemic catastrophe represented by the spread of community infection with the emerging Corona virus in the past two months.

The statement called on the citizens of Jadu to continue to adhere to the precautionary measures during the blessed Eid al-Fitr and to refrain from mixing, not to shake hands, and to avoid visiting the elderly to keep the level of the epidemic receding.

On April 25, the municipality of Jadu announced the launch of the national campaign for vaccination against Coronavirus in the municipality with three vaccination centers: the Jadu Health Care Unit, the Jadu Health Care Center, and the Shakshuk Health Center.

The municipality said in a statement, that the vaccinations will be done according to the statements contained in the system announced during the past days, explaining that the vaccination for the rest of the groups will be according to what will be announced and received from the National Center for Disease Control.

Foreign Minister Renews Call For Withdrawal Of Russian Wagner And Foreign Forces From Libya.

Tripoli, Foreign and international Cooperation Minister Najla Al Mangoush today renewed a call for the Russian Wagner mercenaries and all foreign forces to be withdrawn from Libya either from south, west or east of the country.

The Foreign Ministry website said Al Mangoush made the remarks during a tour of the southern region during which she visited border towns.

Speaking about relations with neighboring countries she said ‘we wish stability for the neighboring Chad in accordance with what its people decide for themselves peacefully. We have suffered a lot from cross border armed groups and manipulation of them by Libyan conflict parties, and we have repeatedly asked those countries to help us control their subjects to reach solutions in their countries, to save us the evils of war.’

‘Today we call for withdrawal of all foreign forces ‘wagner, Jinjaweed, Syrians and other from all of Libya, south, east or west, by working towards achieving this with 5+5 Military Committee with international supervision and in accordance with relevant UN Security Council resolutions, Al Mangoush said.

We are working towards restoring our sovereignty and prepare for free and fair elections free of pressure of arms and force, she added.

Libyan Coast Guard And Port Security Authority Warns All Foreign Ships Against Fishing Or Entering The Libyan Protected Fishing Zone.

Tripoli, The Libyan Coast Guard and Port Security Authority warned all foreign ships from fishing or entering the protected Libyan fishing zone, stressing that no foreign ship have the right to access or fish in it.

The warning came in a statement issued on the website of the Naval Staff Command’s spokesman, following the accident that a crew member of an Italian fishing vessel was injured last Thursday, in the aforementioned protected Libyan fishing zone.

The statement confirmed that the injury of the crew member of the Italian fishing vessel came as a result of colliding with the window of the ship that was inspected in the presence of an Italian military frigate, and not from the warning shots, as announced, in implementation of the Libyan sovereignty over this area of the Mediterranean waters.

The agency said in the statement, “Such acts and penetrations are not the first time of their kind, and are repeated by Italian fishing vessels, and documented by the agency in audio and video.”
