Salary System Strategy Committee For Administrative Units Holds A Meeting .

Tripoli, – In implementation of the decision of the President of the National Unity Government, Abdel Hamid Dabaiba No. 6 / 2021, Minister of Finance Khaled Al-Mabrouk Abdullah chaired the first meeting of the committee in charge of developing the vision and strategy regarding the employee salary system in government administrative units.

The committee, which included: Minister of Economy and Trade Mohamed Al-Hawij, Minister of Civil Service Abdel Fattah Al-Khawja, and the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance for budget implementation affairs, and a number of directors of departments at the Ministry of Finance’s office, has been discussing the reasons for the prime minister’s decision in this regard.

The sources at the Ministry of Finance explained that it had been agreed to hold another meeting for the committee to complete a memorandum in regard to present it to the Council of Ministers.

People close to the meeting stated that it is expected that the meetings of this committee will lead to the standardization of salaries according to a schedule that achieves justice among employees in government administrative units.

Member Of The State Council Abd Al-Qadir Hawili: The Electoral Commission Is The One That Can Hold Referendum On Constitution.

Tripoli, – A member of the Supreme Council of State and a member of the Legal Committee of the Forum for Political Dialogue, “Abdul Qadir Hawili”, blamed the High Elections Commission in deciding on the action to be taken regarding the conduct of the referendum on the draft constitution, saying that the ball is in the court of the National Commission Supreme elections to conduct

He added in his speech, in which he participated in the closed-circuit dialogue forum session, or what is known as “video conference” today, Wednesday (that the Supreme Council of State called the Commission to conduct a referendum on the draft constitution in accordance with the amendments made by the House of Representatives in 2019.

The United Nations Support Mission in Libya called on the members of the Political Dialogue Forum to hold sessions throughout the day, Wednesday, and tomorrow, Thursday, May 26 and 27, to reach a formula regarding the draft constitution.

Libyan Political Dialogue Forum Discusses, In A Session, Held Virtually Through Zoom, The Proposal Of The Legal Committee Emanating From The Forum On The Proposed Constitutional Rule.

Tripoli, Members of the Libyan Political Dialogue Forum began a session of the members of the Libyan Political Dialogue Forum to discuss the constitutional rule proposed by the legal committee emanating from the Forum for Political Dialogue with the participation of the head of the United Nations Mission in Libya Jan Kubis, which will last for two days.

During the session, members of the forum presented a number of observations, proposals and reservations about what was in the constitutional rule proposal, including the issue of the vocabulary of the legal oath, the conditions for running for the presidency, the cabinet and ministers, financial rewards and cultural components, in addition to the issue of nationality and marriage to non-Libyan for sovereign positions.

Sources from the United Nations Support Mission in Libya said that in the event that members of the forum agree on the proposal of the constitutional rule, it will be referred to the House of Representatives for approval and inclusion in the constitutional declaration.
